Blue is the warmest color.

Summer is finally upon me, which means bye bye layering. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to go all t shirts and shorts from now on. Just means I have to do more with less. Here is a simple outfit to stunt even on the hottest of days.

A simple denim shirt paired with jeans and a knit tie can go a long way in making an impression. If you feel that denim is too heavy a material for the heat, you can switch it up with linen shirts and cotton chinos or even seersucker, if you can get your hands on it.

Colorful contrast cuffs can make a subtle statement, but be wary of mixing up colors. I cannot, for the life of me, make a smaller knot with a knit tie.

Continuing the flashes of red down below helps finish up the outfit nicely.

Bangalore nights can get very chilly, so I always keep a jacket handy when I step out. It’s fairly easy to pair a jacket with this outfit as blue and black are colors that gel easy.
